Mini golf is a great way to enjoy the fun of golf without the cost, stress, and frustration that a round of actual golf often involves. Mini golf courses vary depending on the location and particular theme. Most of us probably remember playing mini golf with family or friends growing up, but when was the last time you went mini golfing?
We went to Monster Mini Golf in Round Rock and really enjoyed it! This indoor mini golf course is monster themed (if you couldn’t guess by their name) and features a glow-in-the-dark course with animated monsters.
The course features a variety of monsters along with several glowing murals in the background. The murals include a cast of characters from the local Austin area but also include a few from Hollywood, including Frodo from The Lord of the Rings.
It had been a while since I had last played mini golf, and this course does have some difficult holes, mainly due to the glow-in-the-dark features hiding some of the ways to try to get a hole in one. It was fun going through each hole, trying to avoid some of the obstacles and attempting to hit the ball just right so you could sink your putt.
Monster Mini Golf is a great place to play mini golf. It also has an arcade and laser tag at reasonable prices. We will definitely be going back to play there again.
